What Are Personal Baselines
Pace builds personal baselines for your health metrics over a 60-day rolling window. Instead of comparing you to population averages, Pace learns what's normal for you.
For example, if your resting heart rate is typically 58-64 bpm, Pace knows that. If it suddenly jumps to 72, Pace will flag it — even though 72 bpm is perfectly "normal" by general standards.
This personalized approach means Pace's insights get more accurate over time. During the first few weeks, you may see fewer alerts as Pace gathers enough data to establish your ranges.
Baselines are calculated for HRV, resting heart rate, breathing rate, wrist temperature, blood pressure, walking speed, step length, stair speed, and other metrics where personal trends matter more than fixed thresholds.
